7-NIGHT DALMATIAN & AMALFI COASTS VOYAGE
Where better to begin than in romantic and beautiful Venice? Spend a day strolling scenic cobblestone streets, overarching bridges, and world-famous canals before we cross the Adriatic to Rijeka, a fascinating city perched on Kvarner Bay in Croatia. Climb over 500 steps on the 16th century Petar Kruzic Stairway to the Church of Our Lady, or savor fresh seafood from the many shops and cafés along the harbor on Korzo Street. In Zadar, be sure to sample the local cherry liqueur, Maraschino, which has been made here since the 16th century.
After cruising the scenic Croatian Inside Passage, a route larger ships can’t fit, enjoy an overnight in Split, where must-see landmarks include the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Diocletian’s Palace, which dates back to the 4th century. You’ll also find many 12th century churches, medieval fortifications, and 15th century Gothic palaces.
We then stay late in Dubrovnik, Croatia, where you can discover charming squares and structures dating to the 7th century. A late stay on the island of Hvar, Croatia-fondly known as “the sunniest place in Europe”-is our last stop before returning to Venice. Sip a crisp white posip and relax at one of many excellent restaurants with perfect views of the Adriatic Sea.
